2013-Era GitHub Theme for Forgejo

GitHub 2013 (May-October era) 1:1 replica theme for Forgejo, built from web.archive.org captures. Custom templates + CSS only — no Forgejo source changes.

Install

Copy the contents of templates/ and public/ into your Forgejo custom directory ($GITEA_CUSTOM, e.g. /data/gitea/):

cp -r templates/* /data/gitea/templates/
cp -r public/* /data/gitea/public/

Then restart Forgejo. Static assets are served under /assets/ (e.g. /assets/css/gh2013-home.css).

Notes

• CSS files are cache-busted via ?v= query in templates; bump on change.
• app.ini needs DOMAIN / ROOT_URL pointing at the public hostname.
• [ui] DEFAULT_THEME = forgejo-light + THEMES = forgejo-light recommended so Forgejo's dark auto-theme doesn't clash with the light 2013 look.
